My Legal Aspirations

For as long as I can remember, the legal field has always fascinated me. While my friends watched sitcoms and cartoons, I chose to watch courtroom dramas and real life trials unfold. There was never really any question as to what I wanted to be when I got older. The only profession for me was that of a trial lawyer. Unfortunately, a serious car accident several years ago changed all that. Now, my injuries prevent me from leaving my home most days. However, my love for the law has never went away. While I may not be able to realize my dreams of becoming a trail lawyer, I still wish to help people with their legal problems. That is why I decided to start this blog. It is my hope that the information contained in these pages will help other accident victims like me when filing their personal injury claims.

3 Reasons To Hire A Motorcycle Accident Attorney Who Rides, Too

Blog

If you have recently been involved in an accident while on your motorcycle, you might be shopping around for a good motorcycle attorney who can help you. There are a lot of things that you should look for when hiring a motorcycle accident attorney, but one thing that you might not have thought about is looking for a lawyer who also rides motorcycles. These are a few reasons why this might be a good idea.

1. Find an Attorney Who Knows the Rules of Road First-Hand

Sure, any motorcycle attorney is going to know the laws about riding motorcycles. Someone who actually enjoys riding motorcycles, however, will know these laws as first-hand knowledge and may have a better recollection of them at a crucial moment. Basically, a motorcycle lawyer who actually rides motorcycles understands more about it than someone who does not and may serve as a better lawyer for you because of it

2. Ensure Your Lawyer is Passionate About Motorcycle Law

Some lawyers care more about the people that they represent, the laws that are in place and the cases that they handle than others do. If you find someone who is passionate about the topic at hand, you can often enjoy better representation. If you hire a motorcycle lawyer who likes to ride, then you'll know that you are working with a lawyer who is passionate about motorcycles, motorcycle laws and the safety of people who ride motorcycles.

3. Get Helpful Tips

Your attorney should be able to give you all sorts of advice about your case. Luckily, a good motorcycle accident attorney -- particularly one who rides motorcycles as well -- can often assist you with finding the resources and support that you need to move on after your motorcycle and to operate your motorcycle a bit more safely and carefully in the future.

If you have been shopping for a motorcycle lawyer to represent you after being involved in a motorcycle accident, you might have been looking for a lot of things. You probably already know to look for someone who has experience in the industry, and you might have thought about calling around and comparing prices so that you can find affordable legal representation. Out of all of the things that you have thought about on your search for a good lawyer, however, one thing that you might not have thought about is hiring someone who rides motorcycles, too. For these three reasons and more, however, this can be a smart -- yet unique -- bit of criteria to look for as well.
